Xovoltib 40 mg is intended for the treatment of certain kinds of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Afatinib belongs to the group of drugs called kinase inhibitors. It acts by preventing the replication of cancer cells.

Avoid strong-smelling meals. Strong smells may cause sickness.
Don’t eat sweets and greasy foods that can make you vomit.
Choose foods, which are quickly and easily digested.
Try to eat more slowly.
Drink liquids that may give you some energy – such as juice or milk.
Disorders of taste and smell may occur. If your favorite meals have different taste, refuse from them not to develop a disgust for them. Choose meals that don’t have a sharp smell. Cold dishes may digest better. Try different dressings. Leave the kitchen if cooking smells makes you queasy.
Replace red meat with poultry or eggs.
Pain in the mouth or problems swallowing can become a real trouble. Stew small pieces of meat.
