Pharmacological action of Docetaxel 160mg.

An antineoplastic agent, a semi-synthetic analogue of paclitaxel. The mechanism of action is associated with the accumulation of tubulin in the microtubules of the mitotic spindle, which leads to disruption in the processes of their assembly and disassembly. It disrupts the cell division in the G2 and M phases of the cell cycle.

After a single IV injection at a dose of 160 mg / m2, the average Cmax of docetaxel in plasma is 3.7 μg / ml. The average value of Vd in the equilibrium state is 113 liters. Binding to plasma proteins – 90%. Docetaxel is metabolized.

Contraindications of Docetaxel 160mg.

Neutropenia, increased sensitivity to docetaxel in the anamnesis, pregnancy, lactation.

Docetaxel is not used when the bilirubin content is more than CAH in combination with the activity of hepatic transaminases, which exceeds the CAH by 1.5 times, and the AF of 2.5 times higher than the CAH.
